Fiscal Date Columns for Fixed-Start Fiscal Calendars

PULSE Dashboard derives fiscal date columns — Fiscal Week, Fiscal Month, Fiscal Quarter, and Fiscal Year — from your company's fiscal calendar, so reports can be grouped, sorted, and filtered the way your business actually measures time. Until now, these columns supported standard calendars and fully custom fiscal calendars. This release adds support for the remaining calendar type: a fixed-start fiscal calendar, where the fiscal year always begins on the first day of a fixed calendar month (July 1, October 1, and so on).

If your company's calendar is configured with a fixed fiscal start month, all four fiscal date columns are now available on date fields across reports.

How the columns are numbered

Column	Numbering rule
Fiscal Year	Labeled by the calendar year in which the fiscal year ends. A fiscal year running July 2025 through June 2026 is fiscal year 2026.
Fiscal Month	Counted from the fiscal start month. With a July start, July is month 1 and June is month 12.
Fiscal Quarter	Fiscal months grouped in threes: months 1–3 form quarter 1, months 4–6 form quarter 2, and so on.
Fiscal Week	Whole seven-day weeks counted from the first day of the fiscal year, resetting at the start of each fiscal year.

Every period value is prefixed with the fiscal year — for example, 2026-03 for the third fiscal month of fiscal year 2026 — so periods always sort correctly across year boundaries.

Getting started

No setup is required beyond the fiscal calendar settings you already have. If your fiscal calendar is configured with a fixed start month, the columns become available automatically after the upgrade. Dates that fall outside the range covered by your calendar are left blank rather than mislabeled.
