Catalog of custom report tabs

Adapted from the "PULSE Dashboard & Reporting Software Catalog of Custom Reports Tabs", updated April 2025.

Pulse Dashboard users have asked for specialized reports over the years, and the ones worth sharing are collected here. Each entry is a tab — a set of related reports that imports into your Dashboard as a unit, after which you can change it and share it with others at your company.

How to get one

Contact the PULSE support desk at [email protected] or (513) 723-8095 and quote the catalog ID. Interested in the Management Overview? Ask for EX1 and we will email the tab to you.

Before you ask

Two things decide whether a tab will run for you:

  • You must be licensed for the underlying module. These tabs are part of the standard PULSE modules and are subject to the same definitions. A reconfigured Inventory Status report needs the Inventory module, and the user needs access to that module and report.
  • Many of them need the Designer module. Nearly all our customers already have it. Check Help → License Info in Pulse Dashboard if you are unsure.

How to import a tab

Once we have emailed you the tab file, import it from the Dashboard — Loading tabs from a zip file covers the import in 5.65 and later.

Send us yours

If your company has developed a report worth sharing, export it and email it to [email protected]. The catalog is updated periodically as reports come in.

Executive Module

EX5 AR Aging w/Customer Order Detail Using the Advanced Screen Designer to combine AR Aging information with the Customer Order detail. Inventory Module

IM2 Reorder Advice Report This report is for companies that use reorder levels in the item/location file to trigger re- ordering. This report contains a filter to display only items that are below their reorder level Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM3 Physical/Cycle Inventory Counting (to be used if you are assigning item numbers to tags) The first report is used to track real-time variances during your counting process. The second report is used to pinpoint items that resulted in large variances in prior years. The items on this report should be pre-counted or double-counted for maximum accuracy Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM4 Inventory Reorder Level Advanced Analysis This is an example of creating custom formulas to determine when to replenish either manufactured or purchased items. The Sales Quantity custom formula will need to be changed for the current year Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM5 Physical Inventory Variances and Items Not Counted (for item numbers assigned to tags) This is to be used as you are counting your inventory and assists in reconciling Count Tags. IM8 Excess and Obsolete Inventory This report lists the Inventory Items that have an On-Hand Quantity and sorted by Months On-Hand which highlights excessive amounts. It also displays the last dates for Usage, Activity, Purchase, Manufacture or Sale Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM9 Frozen Stock Status Report This report lists the Frozen Quantity, Cost and Freeze Date of Inventory Items captured by the Macola Freeze Inventory application as stored in the Item/Loc File Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM10 Inventory Asset Account by Item Report By selecting the material Cost Type and Location on the left of the report this report lists the Items with that Cost Type at the selected Location to view the Inventory Asset the Item is associated with Inventory and Designer ES, Macola 10, Progression
IM11 Inventory Reorder Level Advanced Analysis Report Using multiple Custom Formulas this report displays the number of days the Item is within Usage based on the past year Inventory ES, Macola 10, Progression

Additionally, the report will display when the Item can be expected to be received if a replenishment order is created “today”. As an Item is selected in the top portion of the report all open demand/replenishment orders are displayed below Material Requirements, Inventory and Designer ES, Macola 10, Progression
